The Retail Sales Associate is responsible for maximizing sales through exceptional customer service, maintaining store operations, merchandising, and ensuring stock availability and presentation standards.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Shop Keeping & Store Standards
- Maximize sales by delivering exceptional customer service and retail experience.
- Ensure stock is displayed according to layout standards, neatly arranged, price-tagged, bar-coded, and rotated correctly.
- Record all stock administration (count, transfer, dispatch, delivery) accurately in the system.
- Maintain high levels of housekeeping, grooming, and store security.
Merchandising & Stock Management
- Maintain detailed knowledge of store products and merchandise.
- Ensure promotions and fast-selling lines are highlighted.
- Provide customer feedback to department heads.
- Assist with stock replenishment to ensure continuous product availability.
Customer Service
- Greet and attend to customers promptly and politely.
- Guide customers throughout the store and provide product information.
- Ensure visual merchandising principles are effectively implemented.
- Deliver a high level of customer satisfaction and support sales objectives.
