Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Forklift Operator to safely and efficiently handle cargo during container stuffing and de-stuffing operations in our Dubai warehouse. The ideal candidate will ensure safety and proper handling of equipment and cargo while maintaining high operational standards.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Follow instructions from Supervisor / Foreman / Clerk.
- Select and operate the appropriate forklift for container de-stuffing and stuffing operations.
- Segregate cargo being de-stuffed from the container and load it safely onto trailers or into containers.
- Conduct pre-operation safety checks and ensure all safety measures are followed.
- Report any equipment defects, damages, or breakdowns promptly to the supervisor.
- Maintain work areas free of hazards, minimizing risks to people, equipment, and cargo.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification is mandatory.
- Proven experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of safe and efficient forklift operation experience.
- Experience in manufacturing or logistics is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
