We are seeking a highly experienced Planning Manager with extensive expertise in infrastructure projects, specifically in roads, highways, and bridges. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 years of experience in project planning and controls and must be based in the UAE. This role requires strong skills in project scheduling, progress monitoring, reporting, and coordination of large-scale infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage, and monitor master schedules for road and bridge infrastructure projects.
  • Prepare detailed construction schedules, resource plans, and cost-loaded programs using industry-standard tools such as Primavera P6.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineering teams, and site teams to ensure project timelines are achievable and aligned.
  • Track project progress, identify risks, delays, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare regular progress reports, delay analysis, and project recovery plans.
  • Monitor subcontractor schedules and ensure alignment with the main project schedule.
  • Conduct schedule impact analysis for variations, extensions of time (EOT), and claims.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, contractual requirements, and best planning practices.
  • Participate in project review meetings with clients, consultants, and internal teams.
  • Provide strategic planning input during tender submissions and project start-up phases.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in project planning and controls.
  • Proven experience in roads, highways, and bridges projects in the UAE or GCC.
  • Strong proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and other planning tools.
  • Excellent understanding of civil engineering construction processes and methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
  • Exceptional communication and coordination abilities.
  • Must be currently based in the UAE.
