High-Performing Collections Specialist – UAE Digital Debt Recovery
A fast-growing, technology-driven financial services company in the UAE is seeking a highly skilled Collections Specialist to join its frontline team. This role is performance-driven, focused on recovering overdue balances across regulated portfolios while maintaining a relationship-sensitive and compliance-critical approach.
The successful candidate will be responsible for personally managing overdue accounts through a combination of outbound calls, digital channels, and written communications. They will handle inbound payment discussions and hardship cases professionally, converting engagement into recovered revenue without escalating disputes. Negotiating repayment arrangements in line with client policies, regulatory requirements, and portfolio objectives is a key part of the role.
Performance in this role is measured by outcomes rather than activity, requiring the Collections Specialist to consistently meet recovery, compliance, and quality KPIs. The candidate will maintain precise, audit-ready documentation of all customer interactions, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations and client standards. Assessing customer financial positions quickly and determining the appropriate recovery path within approved frameworks is essential, as is managing accounts across multiple systems, workflows, and digital tools efficiently.
The Collections Specialist will also escalate accounts for legal action, dispute resolution, or client review when required and will stay up to date with UAE collections regulations, data handling requirements, and client-specific compliance obligations.
