Job Overview:
Parsons is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to independently develop and supervise electrical engineering solutions for roads, utilities, and traffic signal projects in Dubai. The ideal candidate will ensure that all designs and deliverables meet client quality standards and comply with local authority requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the creation of electrical engineering products including calculations, drawings, procurement documents, design and installation packages, technical reports, and analyses.
- Define project problems, establish work scope, prepare budgets and schedules, provide technical direction, and report progress.
- Provide guidance and supervision to CAD designers, drafters, junior engineers, and project team members.
- Ensure all designs comply with Dubai Local Authority regulations, including RTA, DEWA, and Dubai Municipality.
- Review drawings and designs before client submission, coordinating with contractors and authorities to obtain necessary approvals while maintaining accurate documentation.
- Coordinate with clients and contractors for the execution of LV/HV electrical works.
- Support additional engineering activities and participate in small to intermediate-sized projects as a lead engineer or team member.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 15 years of experience managing roads, utilities, and traffic signal engineering projects in the UAE, preferably Dubai.
- Strong ability to build relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and government authorities.
- In-depth knowledge of RTA regulations and standards.
- Proven management and leadership experience with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in CAD and related engineering software.
