Key Responsibilities
The Electrical and Mechanical Technician will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical systems using diagnostic tools and schematics to efficiently resolve technical issues. The role includes performing preventative maintenance on equipment, conducting inspections, lubrication, and replacing components to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
Technicians will also be involved in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of various electrical and mechanical equipment, including motors, pumps, HVAC systems, and control panels, strictly adhering to safety standards. Reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and manuals is essential to understand system layouts and specifications, ensuring effective troubleshooting and repair operations.
Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate should possess a diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundational understanding of engineering principles. Relevant certifications, such as Certified Electrical Technician (CET) or Certified Mechanical Technician (CMT), are highly desirable to showcase professional competence.
Candidates should have at least one year of hands-on experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance and repair, ideally with familiarity in amusement park equipment, including games and rides.
