Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) / ACCA with 7–8 years of UAE experience to drive business development, oversee client relationships, and coordinate project delivery in our Dubai branch. This role is instrumental in expanding our UAE footprint, ensuring seamless coordination with India-based service line teams, and contributing to practice development initiatives.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Regulatory & Technical Knowledge
- Stay updated with UAE VAT laws, corporate tax regime, economic substance regulations, transfer pricing, and company law.
- Provide initial guidance to clients on compliance and coordinate with subject matter experts for detailed advice.
Practice Development
- Identify new service opportunities, emerging client needs, and areas for innovation in the UAE market.
- Collaborate with the UAE Location Head to translate opportunities into actionable business initiatives.
- Support brand-building and thought-leadership efforts in the UAE market.
Client Engagement & Project Coordination
- Act as the primary contact for UAE-based clients.
- Coordinate between clients and India-based service teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
- Oversee project progress and ensure client requirements are met within agreed timelines.
- Provide regular updates to clients and internal teams on project status.
Business Development
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in taxation, VAT, corporate law, and advisory.
- Build and nurture long-term client relationships across corporates, SMEs, and entrepreneurial ventures.
- Represent the firm at networking events, seminars, and industry forums.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Qualifications & Experience
- Chartered Accountant (India) or ACCA (UK).
- 7–8 years of professional experience in UAE (mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT, corporate tax, and company law.
- Experience in business development or client-facing roles.
- Strong coordination and project oversight skills.
- Excellent communication and networking abilities.
