Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead, coordinate, and supervise the QS team across all project stages in Dubai. The role is critical in ensuring timely valuations, effective cost management, and accurate commercial reporting, while supporting project delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead, coordinate, and supervise the Quantity Surveying team across all project stages.
- Ensure timely submission of valuations and variations.
- Review and certify subcontractor payment applications.
- Prepare and oversee interim payment applications to clients with supporting documentation.
- Prepare and negotiate variation orders with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Support cost optimization strategies and risk management initiatives.
- Prepare monthly commercial reports for senior management and stakeholders.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture.
- Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in quantity surveying and team leadership.
- Strong understanding of commercial and contractual aspects of various contract types.
- Proven experience managing and coordinating teams.
- Deep knowledge of FIDIC contracts, local legislation, and QS standards.
- Proven ability to manage subcontractor contracts and commercial negotiations.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with cross-functional collaboration abilities.
- Proficient in English.
