Promech Inspection and Engineering LLC is urgently seeking experienced QA/QC Multi-Discipline Inspectors (Welding & Painting) to join its inspection team in the UAE. The ideal candidates must have strong technical expertise in welding, NDT, coating/painting inspections, and oil & gas construction projects. Immediate joiners are highly preferred.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform welding inspections in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and international codes.
- Conduct NDT inspections including MT, PT, UT, and RT as per project requirements.
- Carry out coating and painting inspections ensuring compliance with approved procedures and standards.
- Monitor fabrication, piping, structural, and pressure vessel activities.
- Prepare inspection reports, NCRs, and quality documentation accurately and timely.
- Coordinate with contractors, supervisors, and clients to ensure quality compliance.
- Ensure all inspection activities meet ASME, AWS, ISO, EN, ASTM, and NACE standards.
- Support project teams during audits and quality reviews.
Required Qualifications & Certifications
- CSWIP 3.1 or AWS-CWI certification
- BGAS Grade 2 or NACE Level II
- ASNT Level II in MT, PT, UT, and RT
- Diploma (DME) or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 8 – 12 years of relevant inspection experience
Desired Candidate Profile
- Strong experience in welding, NDT, coating & painting inspections
- Proven background in Oil & Gas / Fabrication / Construction projects
- Good knowledge of piping, structural works, and pressure vessels
- Familiarity with international inspection codes and standards
- Excellent English communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking)
- Strong supervisory, coordination, and reporting abilities
- GCC experience preferred but not mandatory
