Job Overview
A leading FMCG (Food & Beverage) company is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Van Sales Auditor / Sales Operations Audit Officer to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across van sales operations. The role focuses on auditing sales routes, cash handling, inventory movement, and sales documentation while supporting operational improvement and loss prevention.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive audits of van sales routes, ensuring accurate reconciliation of cash, inventory, and sales transactions.
- Verify product deliveries to customers, confirming correct quantities, SKUs, and documentation.
- Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends, operational gaps, fraud risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Inspect van sales vehicles to ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
- Review and validate all sales documentation including invoices, delivery notes, and payment receipts.
- Investigate discrepancies and work closely with sales representatives and relevant departments to resolve issues.
- Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings, risks, and recommendations to management.
- Provide guidance and training to van sales staff on proper sales procedures, inventory control, and cash handling.
- Ensure strict adherence to company policies related to pricing, promotions, and customer service.
- Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Logistics teams to improve operational efficiency and compliance.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of auditing experience, preferably within the FMCG or distribution sector.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel and data analysis tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- High level of integrity and professionalism in handling sensitive financial information.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written); additional languages are an advantage.
