Job Overview
We are currently seeking a skilled and customer-focused Hair Stylist to join a professional beauty salon in Dubai. The ideal candidate should be passionate about hair styling, up-to-date with modern trends, and capable of delivering high-quality services to a diverse clientele. This role requires creativity, technical expertise, and excellent customer service skills in a fast-paced salon environment.
The Hair Stylist will be responsible for providing personalized hair services while maintaining high standards of hygiene, professionalism, and client satisfaction. The successful candidate will play a key role in building long-term client relationships and enhancing the overall salon experience.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Welcome customers warmly and identify their preferences by asking clear, targeted questions
- Recommend suitable hairstyles, haircuts, and treatments based on face shape, hair type, and personal style
- Wash, rinse, and dry clients’ hair using appropriate shampoos and conditioners (e.g., for oily hair, dry scalp, or damaged hair)
- Cut, trim, and shave hair using professional salon equipment and tools
- Apply a wide range of hair coloring techniques, including highlights, balayage, ombre, and full-color treatments
- Create hairstyles for special occasions and everyday wear, such as braids, ponytails, buns, and blow-dries
- Apply hair treatment products when required, including hydrating masks, keratin treatments, and color protection products
- Build strong relationships with loyal customers and remember their hairstyle preferences
- Manage appointments, handle walk-in clients, and ensure smooth daily operations
- Maintain cleanliness of beauty stations and sterilize tools in compliance with health and safety standards
- Cross-sell hair care products or salon services when appropriate to enhance customer experience and sales
Desired Candidate Profile
- Proven work experience as a Hair Stylist, Hairdresser, Colorist, or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of modern hair trends, cutting techniques, and coloring methods
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
